Octavo, two volumes elaborately bound in full period marbled calf by Bayntun with morocco spine labels lettered in gilt, elaborate gilt tooling to the spine in six compartments within raised gilt bands, double gilt ruling and scrolling to the front and rear panels, gilt turn-ins and inner dentelles, marbled endpapers, ribbons bound in, all edges gilt. In very good condition with some wear to the extremities.

Hand painted 1/72 scale model of the Enola Gay with a 23.5 inch wingspan and accompanied by four attachable propellors, each measuring approximately 2.5 inches in length. Boldly signed by Paul Tibbets on the stands metal plaque, "Paul Tibbets, Pilot 6 Aug. 1945." In near fine condition. The plane measures 16 inches in length from end to end, while the stand measures 9.5 inches by 4.75 inches by 8 inches. Housed in original box.
