Octavo, original cloth, illustrated with Hartley's own strong, detailed and lively illustrations. Lengthily signed by the author on the front free endpaper, "D. Hartley. the author- with remembrances of our meetings-at the National!" Near fine in a very good price-clipped dust jacket. Exceptionally rare signed, we trace no other examples.

The note accompanied an 18-page Astrological Horoscope report by Hollywood astrologer Carroll Righter which Dietrich arranged to have made for DiMaggio. Signed by Righter at the conclusion of the report and with an additional inscription by Dietrich which reads, "M. Righter does not know your name. If you should want to ask him anything specific you must refer to your birth date and place. M."
