One page with the Hotel Cecil, London coat of arms, the post card is addressed to Miss Nelly Bachman in Caruso's hand and signed by him on the verso, "Enrico Caruso London 1906." Caruso has added a self-caricature beneath his inscription. In near fine condition.

Octavo, bound in full crushed levant morocco with gilt titles and tooling to the spine in six compartments within raised bands, gilt ruling to the front and rear panels, gilt turn-ins and inner dentelles, marbled endpapers, all edges gilt, decorated with a concealed for-edge painting of a portrait of Burns, illustrated with numerous engravings by Birket Foster, Harrison, Weir, etc. In very good condition.
