Exceptionally rare, one of the earliest books printed in Roman type, which would influence famed 15th century Venetian printer Aldus Manutius, as well as such latter day designers as William Morris and Bruce Rogers.

This striking postwar portrait of Lee was captured by photographer Michael Miley of Lexington, Virginia in 1869, perhaps less than a year prior to Lee's death on October 12, 1870.
