Men of the world in every sense, Ian Fleming, the creator of James Bond, and Antony Terry, foreign correspondent, both worked for British Intelligence during the war and later for a major newspaper group where Fleming was foreign manager and Terry his reporter in Germany. Commencing in 1949, the correspondence included here covers 15 years and provides rare insight into the working methods of two interesting men and a commentary on the conditions and conventions of the time.
