Limited large paper edition of the complete works of Alexander Dumas. Octavo, 40 volumes bound in three quarter green morocco over marbled boards with gilt titles and ruling to the spine in five compartments within raised gilt bands, top edge gilt, marbled endpapers, original red silk ribbon tipped in, frontispiece to most volumes, elegantly illustrated with engraved plates. One of only one hundred and fifty numbered copies, this is number 19. In good condition with rubbing to the spine and extremities of each volume, bookplate to the front pastedown of each volume, number label to the front pastedown of select volumes, informative slip tipped in to Vol. I of ‘The Three Musketeers,’ vertical tear to the spine of Vol. II of ‘Vicomte de Bragelonne,’ white paint streak to the front panel of Vol. I of ‘The Count of Monte Cristo,’ clipping to the bottom right corners of pages 61-64 in Vol. I of ‘The Two Dianas’ not obstructing the text.
