First edition of Carnap’s classic work. Octavo, original cloth. From the library of Edward H. Levi with his signature to the front free endpaper. Levi served as the Attorney General in the Ford Administration. He was Distinguished Service Professor of Law at the University of Chicago and served as Dean of the University of Chicago Law School from 1950-1962, Provost from 1962-1968  and its President from 1968 to 1975. Near fine in the rare original dust jacket with some rubbing and wear. A nice example with noted provenance.
