Presentation copy, inscribed by both Stephen and Ethel Longstreet on the front free endpaper, plus a full page drawing by Stephen Longstreet, which he titles “To Life!” on the front pastedown. Also signed again by both Stephen and Ethel Longstreet on the title page. The DRAWING by Stephen Longstreet is on the front pastedown and partially on the front free endpaper.  The inscription reads, “For Monique & Curtis: This book sent on from your mother – in the hope that the joys of food are still with you. Most cordially Stephen & Ethel Longstreet 1-4-75.” The recipients Monique and Curtis Kaufman, of San Francisco. Curtis Kaufman is the son of Harry and Lilian Kaufman, who were close friends of Stephen and Ethel Longstreet. Near fine in a very good dust jacket. Rare and desirable.
