The Finer Grain contains a collection of some of James' final novellas including: The Velvet Glove, Mora Montravers, a Round of Visits, Crapy Cornelia and The Bench of Desolation. James produced some of his most successful works in his later years including The Turn of the Screw, The Ambassadors, and The Wings of the Dove as well as his autobiographies A Small Boy and Others and Notes of a Son and Brother.
