Lea and Hutchinson's The Ancestry of Abraham Lincoln contains a complete account of the ancestry of Abraham Lincoln including his English and American Ancestries complete with genealogical tables and engraved facsimile signatures. Lincoln was born into poverty in a log cabin on Sinking Spring Farm near Hodgenville, Kentucky and was raised on the frontier primarily in Indiana. He was a descendant of Samuel Lincoln, an Englishman who migrated from Hingham, Norfolk, to its namesake, Hingham, Massachusetts, in 1638. Lincoln is buried with his wife, Mary Todd Lincoln; and three of their four sons, Edward, William, and Thomas in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Springfield, Illinois.
