Signed first editions are rare.

One of the most influential Americans of the 20th century, Alfred C. Kinsey conducted landmark studies of male and female sexual behavior that helped usher in the “sexual revolution” of the 1960s and 1970s. In January 1948, Kinsey and his collaborators published Sexual Behavior in the Human Male. It made the best-seller list within 3 weeks, despite its 804 pages, generally dry scientific style, and ponderous weight of statistics, tables, and graphs. By mid-March, it had sold 200,000 copies. Named by TIME Magazine as one of the 100 best and most influential non-fiction books since 1923.
