A very scarce, and sumptuously produced, history of the Rolex watch. With 26 tissued-guarded, and tipped-in, colour photo plates of some of the company’s most famous designs, plus 22 pages of text, and an accompanying “Roll of Honour” detailing the many awards the company has won for its chonometers. Small quarto, original stiff wrappers. Near fine in the original glassine wrapper. The slipcase is in near fine condition.

Rolex Jubilee is a celebration of and commentary on the most memorable events in the history of the Rolex firm. As is stated in the book’s introduction: “High technical skill based on and guided by exact scientific data, good taste in the choice of designs, a bold pioneer spirit, tenacity and hard work, all these have gone to build up the reputation Rolex watches enjoy throughout the world.”
