BRZEZINSKI, Zbigniew .

Item Number: 5740

New York: Farrar, Straus and Giroux, 1983.

First edition of Brzezinski’s memoirs. Octavo, original cloth. Inscribed by the author to the former United States Ambassador of Finland, “For James Goodby- best wishes, Zbigniew Brzezinski.” Goodby served in the United States Foreign Service, achieving the rank of Career Minister, and was appointed to five ambassadorial-rank positions by Presidents Carter, Reagan, and Clinton, including ambassador to Finland. Fine in a near fine price-clipped dust jacket. A nice association.
