First edition, first issue of Byron’s collection of ten poems including his famous “Fare thee well.” Octavo, bound in full morocco by Zaehnsdorf, gilt tooling to the spine and panels, morocco spine labels lettered in gilt, gilt turn-ins and inner dentelles, marbled endpapers, all edges gilt. First issue containing ten poems, without “To Samuel Rogers” added as the eleventh poem of the second issue. In near fine condition. Housed in a custom half morocco clamshell box.
