Octavo, original half cloth, illustrated. Fine in a fine dust jacket. Written with Mary Hartnett and Wendy W. Williams. Accompanied with a typed letter signed to Bruce L. Kubert. Octavo, watermarked, one page with original envelope, on “Supreme Court of the United States” stationery, and dated June 16, 2010. Boldly signed by Ruth Bader Ginsburg. The letter reads in full, “Dear Mr. Kubert: I was deeply touched by the photograph of your father seated on Richard’s bench in Central Park. It was so good of you to send it to me. With appreciation, Ruth Bader Ginsburg.” Richard Eugene Bader (1932-1989) was the cousin of Ruth Bader Ginsburg. He was an administrator for New York City, having served in the Department of City Planning, the Department of Public Works, as well as in Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs. Plaques on two benches in Central Park are inscribed with his name, located outside the northeast corner of the the Arsenal near East 64th Street. In fine condition with mail fold.
