Joe DiMaggio and Ted Williams Signed Photograph.

DIMAGGIO, Joe and Ted Williams.

Item Number: 96014

Original black and white photographs of American baseball legends Joe DiMaggio and Ted Williams in their respective New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox uniforms. Boldly signed by both DiMaggio and Williams. Double matted and framed. The entire piece measures 16 inches by 13.5 inches. Rare and desirable.

American baseball legend Joe DiMaggio is widely considered one of the greatest baseball players of all time, and is best known for his 56-game hitting streak (May 15 – July 16, 1941), a record that still stands. Ted Williams played his entire Major League Baseball career as a left fielder for the Boston Red Sox from 1939 to 1960. In the 1941 All-Star Game, Williams batted fourth behind Joe DiMaggio, who was in the midst of his record-breaking hitting streak, having hit safely in 48 consecutive games. Williams' 1941 season is often considered to be the best offensive season of all time, though the MVP award would go to DiMaggio.
