Octavo, original green cloth, gilt topstain, gilt titles to the spine, gilt vignette to the front panel. Woodcut frontispiece by John Gilbert depicting Charles I playing golf on Leith links, tissue-guard, 6 plates and numerous wood engravings in the text. In near fine condition with light rubbing, bookplate.
