Autographed letter signed on White House letterhead, signed by President Dwight D. Eisenhower to Commissioner Robert Moses, dated July 12, 1958. It reads, “Dear Commissioner Moses: Thank you for your courtesy in going to Massena yesterday to accompany me on my tour of the Saint Lawrence Seaway and Power Projects. I found your explanation of the principal features of the power project intensely interesting. In addition, I was delighted to see you again. With best wishes Sincerely Dwight D. Eisenhower.” In fine condition. Matted and framed. The entire piece measures 12.75 inches by 11 inches.

Dwight Eisenhower served as the 34th President of the United States from 1953 until 1961. He was a five-star general in the United States Army during World War II and served as Supreme Commander of the Allied Expeditionary Forces in Europe. He was responsible for planning and supervising the invasion of North Africa in Operation Torch in 1942–43 and the successful invasion of France and Germany in 1944–45 from the Western Front. In 1951, he became the first Supreme Commander of NATO.
