Discerning the Signs of the Times is a compilation of some of the most well-known sermons by Reinhold Niebuhr. It includes his classic sermon Mystery and Meaning. Niebuhr was one of the greatest theologian and thinkers of the twentieth century. He authored the well-known Serenity Pray and Time posthumously called Reinhold Niebuhr "the greatest Protestant theologian in America since Jonathan Edwards."
