Octavo, 4 volumes, original illustrated wrappers including the first appearance in paperback of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Fantastic Mr. Fox are signed by the author on the dedication page in green ink, “Roald Dahl.”  Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator is inscribed on the half-title page, “To Little Sammy With Love Roald Dahl 1982.” Each volume is in near fine condition. Housed in a custom illustrated slipcase which is in very good condition. Illustrated by Joseph Schindelman, Jill Bennett, and Donald Chaffin. Rare and desirable inscribed by Dahl.
