Rare two dollar bill signed by American astronaut and the second man to land on the moon, Buzz Aldrin on the 200th anniversary of the signing of the American Declaration of Independence. Matted and framed, the entire piece measures 10.5 inches by 5.75 inches. In near fine condition.

American engineer and astronaut Buzz Aldrin made three spacewalks as pilot of the 1966 Gemini 12 mission, and as the lunar module pilot on the 1969 Apollo 11 mission, he and mission commander Neil Armstrong were the first two humans to land on the Moon. Upon leaving NASA in 1971, Aldrin became Commandant of the U.S. Air Force Test Pilot School. He retired from the Air Force in 1972, after 21 years of service. He has been accorded numerous honors, including the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1969, and is listed in several Halls of Fame.
