Inset on the front wrapper is a photograph of Buffalo Bill. 33pp. This program was printed for use at the September 12, 1898 show in Hutchinson, Kansas. Filled with illustrations, this program includes historical information about Col. Cody and his performers, descriptions of their acts, boasts of the show’s safety for the audiences, the show’s lighting, a poem about Buffalo Bill and more. In near fine condition. In superior condition.
One of the most famed figures of the American Old West, Buffalo Bill founded Buffalo Bill's Wild West in 1883, a circus-like attraction that toured throughout the United States annually, and, beginning in 1887 in Great Britain and Europe. Buffalo Bill's Wild West included a variety of characters from horse-culture groups from the world over with feats of skill, staged races and sideshows.
