Rare original screenplay from the 1974 film All the President’s Men, produced by Robert Redford and starring both him and Dustin Hoffman. Quarto, in the original gilt leatherette presentation binding by Ronnie Gousman, Hollywood. Karen Wookey’s copy with her name gilt on the front panel. Presentation copy, inscribed to her by Robert Redford on the front free endpaper, “To Karen – Merry Xmas please accept this in gratitude – for knowing you and working with you. You contribution was invaluable – Robert Redford ’77.” The recipient Karen Wookey worked as script supervisor for All the President’s Men in addition to many other award-winning films including Marathon Man, Romancing the Stone, Witches of Eastwick, and Presumed Innocent. In 1985, Wookey co-founded Save Hollywood, Our Town Inc., a group concerned with the restoration of historic Hollywood. In fine condition. An exceptional example.

The film was directed by Alan J. Pakula with a screenplay by William Goldman and was based on the 1974 non-fiction book of the same name by Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward, the two journalists who investigated the Watergate scandal for The Washington Post. The film was nominated in multiple Oscar, Golden Globe and BAFTA categories, and in 2010 was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant".
