Autograph Letter Signed by Abraham Lincoln requesting a railroad pass for a medical volunteer during the Civil War. In very good condition with light folds. The letter reads, “I suppose this man has been doing something for our sick soldiers, and I should think it would be no more than fair that he should have a Railroad pass to his home at Albany, New York. A. Lincoln. July 2, 1862.” Matted and framed with an original carte-de-visite of Lincoln. The letter measures 4 inches by 2.75 inches. The entire piece measures 19 inches by 16 inches. Rare and desirable.
