Volume one is inscribed, "For Tom Low of Washington from Shelby Foote Memphis 13 May 1990 (These days after the death of Walker Percy, whose letter is enclosed)." Boldly signed by Shelby Foote in volume one. In near fine condition with a bookplate to the opposite of the half-title pages.
