Exceptionally rare, with no other inscribed copies having appeared at auction in the last 15 years. Caruso visited London only once in 1908 for the Royal Gala concert at the Royal Albert Hall on May 30th.

Folio, a dark, moody impression of Emerald Bay at the southeast corner of Lake Tahoe, by the noted Norwegian-American landscape painter Christian August Jorgensen. Annotated on the verso by his son and inaccurately titled: "Emerald Lake - Lake Tahoe. This painting was made by my father Chris Jorgensen in (or about) 1925. Signed Virgil W. Jorgensen, 8/11/36." In very good condition with a few small pinholes to the edges, light horizontal crease to the top edge, evidence of framing to the margins, paper and glue residue to the verso.

Copper engraved, hand-colored map of one of the most decorative maps of the Holy Land of the 17th century. One page with hand-colored borders, the map depicts the tribes of Israel and the route the Israelites took from Egypt through Sinai into Canaan. In the sea there are three sea monsters, one of which has targeted a fishing vessel. The title cartouche is guarded by two dogs, draped with fruit, and flanked by Moses inscribing the ten commandments and a Jewish high priest. In fine condition. Double matted and framed.

Framed. Annotated on the rear in an unknown hand, "Painted by David Conwell (better known as John le Carré) given to Anne Simpson, 27th May 1952." In fine condition.
