First edition of this work by the Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer. Small quarto, original half cloth, illustrated endpapers, illustrated throughout. Presentation copy, inscribed by the author on the half-title page, “To Roy, Thanks for the interview! Dave Kennerly October 31, 1979.” Fine in a near fine dust jacket. Jacket design by Mary Ann Joulwan.
It was made into 1988 film based on the book Shooter by and about Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer David Hume Kennerly, who had been a combat photojournalist during the Vietnam War and later the White House photographer for President Gerald Ford.
