Library bookplate to the front pastedown with the Latin motto ‘Vicilans Non Cadet’ – ‘The vigilant man falls not.’ The library was named in honour of Sir Henry Behrend, Chairman of The Jews’ Hospital and Orphan Asylum at West Norwood, England.
