Bound in the publisher’s three-quarter red morocco over marbled boards, top edge gilt. Raised bands, gilt titles to the spine, richly gilt in compartments with a central floral device, each with blue onlaid petals. Marbled endpapers, frontispiece to each volume, gilt ruling to the front and rear panels. In very good condition with light wear. A beautiful set of the best English translation of Turgenieff.
